Soccer, Baseball, Park City & Ben Folds

We have done so many fun things with the Peterson's this summer. Bri's dad gets tickets to do a lot of fun things through his work-and always invites us all along. We love having family close to be able to do so many fun things with!

Pioneer day weekend everyone stayed up in Park City. We were still babysitting the Poelman kiddos-so we were only able to make it up for the day on Saturday. We went and watched the Flying Ace All Stars do all sorts of jumps on skis/snowboards up at the Utah Olympic Park in the morning, and then headed to ride on the Apline Slide & Coaster--we loved them both. We finished up with dinner on main street and some games. It was such a fun day. And, as always, Navy was such a trooper through all the driving, skipped naps & a late night.
^^so reverent. :)

Another night we got to go to a Salt Lake Bees game. I'm not much of a baseball fan--but unlimited popcorn and drinks in the suite isn't half bad. :)

Probably one of my favorite things is when we were able to go up to Deer Valley and hear Ben Folds perform with the Utah Symphony Orchestra. It was amazing! I've always been a fan of Ben Folds--so it was so fun to hear him perform some of his popular songs, but also just watch him play the piano, he is sooo good. We had awesome seats (thanks to my father-in-law) :) and got to have dinner before the concert and some dessert at intermission. Not a bad way to spend a summer night. :)

And last but not least--we are always up for a REAL soccer game. We invited my brothers to come along--and thankfully stayed dry even though it was nice and rainy! Grandma spoiled Nave with her own little REAL jersey--it is the cutest thing.
^^we think she had fun. :)

  1. *scream* Ben Folds is awesome! He is from Chapel Hill too, a little college town you might have heard of, only 25 minutes away. Navy is adorable in that Real jersey! And the little folded arms. Oh dear. Too cute!
